Welcome to the Vipers Lacrosse Club

Spring 2015 Registration is open.

The Vipers are a youth Lacrosse club dedicated to inspiring young players to develop a passion for the game, developing core lacrosse skills and promoting good sportsmanship and values. Being centrally located in San Jose, and with no required geographic restrictions. We draw from a broad area including Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose, Saratoga, Cupertino, Mt. View and Fremont.

As members of the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association (NCJLA), the Vipers participate in all league activities and NCJLA scheduled games, including the end of season NORCAL Jamboree and the league championships. All games are played throughout the greater South Bay area.

The NCJLA and Vipers are partnered with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) and all Vipers coaches have attended PCA certification courses. For more information, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Parent & Player Meeting - Thurs. Dec. 4

IMPORTANT:  The Vipers will be ordering new uniforms this year so be sure to be on hand to check sizing and order your players uniforms at the parent meeting.  Please make every effort to attend this meeting to ensure a smooth start to the season.


We will be holding our annual parent & player meeting on Thursday Dec. 4 at 7pm.  We are very excited about the upcoming season and have lots of information to share with you.

The meeting will be held in the multi-purpose room at Carden Day School

  • New Vipers Apparel will be on sale at the parent meeting, just in time for your Holiday Shopping!
  • The Vipers will be ordering new uniforms this year so be sure to be on hand to check sizing and order your players uniforms at the parent meeting. (Varsity is using the same uniforms from last year.)
  • If you have old or used equipment and would like to donate it to the club please bring it to the meeting.

  • Vipers Lacrosse Season runs January - May, 2015
  • Tryouts are in January.
  • Please register NOW so we can better plan roster sizes, number of teams & coaching staff.

FREE SUNDAY LACROSSE CLINICS

WHO:  Boys & Girls

WHERE: Harker Middle School

SUNDAY DATES:

  • Nov. 2
  • Nov. 9
  • Nov. 16

TIME:
3:30 - 5:00pm

NOTES:

No charge
Boys and girls will be split up and on different fields.
Ages: 1st grade up to High School
Equipment: We will have extra equipment to borrow (At minimum wear athletic wear (cleats/sneakers, t-shirt, shorts, mouthpiece).
Location:  Harker Middle School - Directions
(Near tennis courts)

General Format:

1. Based on age groups boys will be split up
2. Drills and skills to be taught
3. Scrimmage

Goal of practices and instruction:

1. Introduce lacrosse to new players
2. Strengthen skills of current players
3. Learn in a structured environment
4. Prep for playing in Spring season 2013
5. Have fun while learning, build self confidence
